Private driver to Eurexpo Lyon
Sirha, Foire de Lyon, Equita Lyon, Pollutec: during a trade fair in Chassieu, Yanis drives you from your hotel, the station or the airport to the Eurexpo gate, and back in the evening.
The route
From central Lyon, the A43 leads to the Eurexpo exit and the West gate on Boulevard de l'Europe. Allow 25 minutes on an ordinary day. Coming from the north or south on the eastern ring road, the North and South gates each have their own exit.
Depending on the time of day
In the morning, between 8 and 10 am, visitors arriving for opening time add to the rush on the A43 and the eastern ring road. At the end of the day, the fair closing and the car parks emptying coincide with offices letting out. Arriving before opening, or leaving half an hour after closing, avoids the worst of the queues.
Hotel, fair, station
If you are staying in town, Yanis picks you up at your hotel in the morning and takes you back in the evening. On the last day, he drives you straight from the fair to Part-Dieu, to Perrache, or to Saint-Exupéry, about twenty minutes away.
Chauffeur hire during the fair
Between the fair, lunch in town and a client meeting, the rides add up. By the half day or the day, chauffeur hire keeps Yanis and the car with you, luggage included: describe the programme in the request.
Exhibitors and equipment
If you are exhibiting, list what travels with you: crates, roll-up banners, samples, a screen. With rough dimensions, Yanis checks that it all fits in the Kia Sportage. Exhibitors use the East gate, which is reserved for them: mention it in the request.
Gates and drop-off
Visitors enter through the West, North or South gates, and there is a drop-off zone in car park P2 when it is open. Give your hall in the request: Yanis drops you at the most practical point and meets you there for the ride back.
Questions
Can you stay with me for the whole day of the fair?
Yes, choose “chauffeur hire” by the half day or the day, and over several days if the fair runs longer.
Can you pick me up at Saint-Exupéry and go straight to the fair?
Yes, Eurexpo is about twenty minutes from the airport. With your flight number, Yanis knows the actual arrival time.
Will my exhibition gear fit in the car?
List it in the request with its dimensions. Yanis replies with the quote and tells you whether everything fits.
