The route
The A42 to Pont-d'Ain, then the A40 through Nantua and Bellegarde to Geneva. Allow 1 h 50 in good conditions; the border crossing sometimes adds a few minutes.
In winter
Between Nantua and Bellegarde the A40 crosses the Jura and snow is possible. The car has winter tyres; Yanis allows extra time in bad weather.
Border
Every passenger needs an ID card or passport, plus any documents required for their nationality. Rides run between France and Geneva: no rides within Switzerland.
Drop-off and meeting
Drop-off in front of the departures terminal. On arrival, Yanis waits at the exit with a sign bearing your name, then drives you back to Lyon or on to your resort.
